Following a survey and workshop conducted earlier this year with KI's visual arts community, the Office of the Commissioner for Kangaroo Island has been working with the KI Arts Committee to develop an 'Action Plan'.

This draft Plan sets out the priorities that have been identified by the visual arts community, through previous engagement.

We would like your feedback on the draft plan and will be holding a workshop so we can hear your views. Once the Plan is finalised, we will be seeking funding support and partnering with relevant agencies and organisations to deliver on the priorities identified.

A prioritisation exercise was undertaken by the Arts Committee, and the actions identified were:

  • A Facilities Audit
  • Professional / Artistic Development
  • KI Art Trail / Open Studio Program

  • Shared Arts Space / Facility
